We are simply heart-broken regarding the loss of Cecil the Lion from the African landscape. We at Freedom of the Pack, hope that Cecil’s death will not be in vain. All eyes should be opened that Trophy Killing is NOT a sport. It is, in fact, murder. Many of these “Trophies” are Endangered, or even CRITICALLY endangered, and therefore are doing more harm to our landscape than is worth a head on the mantle. We need to continue to act against unnecessary “taking” of animals for the sake of human amusement. This is the only planet we have, and we need to read the writing on the wall; the human “joyride” will not, and can not, last forever.
